Dominican Republic Pavilion – Expo 2025 Osaka

The Dominican Republic Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, located in the high-visibility Commons-B area, embraces the concept of “Hyperconnected” (“Hiperconectados”), celebrating the nation's vibrant culture and global outreach through an immersive, sensory-rich experience.

From its inauguration in April — attended by Emperor Naruhito, Empress Masako, Crown Prince Fumihito, and Princess Kiko — the pavilion has welcomed over one million visitors just two months in, including approximately 687,000 visitors in May alone.

Through striking visual design and an engaging cultural presentation, the pavilion invites visitors to explore the richness of the Dominican Republic: its culture, history, tourism, music, sports, alongside an enticing showcase of national products such as coffee, chocolate, rum, cigars, amber, larimar, fragrances, candles, and textiles.

The audience spans a diverse range—from schoolchildren and tourists to diplomats, business leaders, and even Osaka Governor Hirofumi Yoshimura.

As part of the Expo’s overarching theme, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, and aligned with Society 5.0, the pavilion stands as a dynamic platform to strengthen cultural diplomacy, attract investment, and broaden the international appeal of the Dominican brand.
